Jazz in North Carolina
|
Playing a variety of jazz styles ranging from Dixieland, to jazz standards, to contemporary jazz and pop, Baby Blues Jazz Ensemble brings jazz to the Carolinas. Consisting of former members of Raleigh's Blues in the Night Big Band, two local rock bands, and a real music teacher who is an occasional orchestra member at the Raleigh Little Theater, this bunch has the chops, the skills, the experience. The lineup includes a singer, a 3 part horn section, keyboard, bass, guitar and drums. Songs in the current rotation include music by Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, David Benoit, Herbie Hancock, Diana Krall, Sade, Santana and others. Here are some cuts recorded recently. These are MP3 files and will take a while to download if you've got a dialup connection. East of the Sun
